Wednesday, November 20th 2019, the Basque chef Martín Berasategui was awarded two additional Michelin stars on the occasion of the gala event presenting the Spain/Portugal edition of the famous culinary guide. This double distinction honors two of his establishments: Ola in Bilbao and Fifty Seconds in Lisbon. Already the holder of 10 Michelin stars in 2018 – six of which are divided between his eponymous restaurant in Lasarte-Oria and the Lazarte restaurant that he co-directs in Barcelona –, Martín Berasategui continues rising to new heights of success.
